Secure Communities Partnership Program Round 3 – Small Business Security Grants
Small Business Security Grants (SCPP Round 3) application
The Queensland Government’s $40 million Secure Communities Partnership Program (SCPP) supports safer and more secure environments for small and family businesses through investment in practical safety and security infrastructure. The program aims to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour, improve business confidence and create safer places for business owners, employees and customers.
The Small Business Security Grants provide funding from $1,500 (ex GST) to $20,000 (ex GST) for mobile business projects and $2,500 (ex GST) to $20,000 (ex GST) for fixed-premises projects for eligible projects that deliver preventative security improvements that directly benefit eligible small and family businesses.
Up to $20 million is available across Round 3, shared between Small Business Security Grants and Shared Security Grants. Funding will be allocated for each grant pathway subject to application demand, project quality and available program funding.
The Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB, we) administers the program.
💰 About the funding
Funding is limited: Applying does not guarantee a grant. We assess applications in the order we receive them and may close the round early if all funding is allocated.
Co-contribution: You must pay at least 50% of the total eligible project cost, all ineligible costs and any eligible costs above your approved grant amount.
Payment: We pay grants up to $5,000 in full when you accept the Funding Agreement. For larger grants, we pay $5,000 when you accept the Funding Agreement and the balance after we approve your acquittal report.
